There is no substitute for experience when it comes to learning
how to keep a crowd dancing. Greg and the Party Professionals
staff have been entertaining at weddings since the 1980s. We’ve
learned a lot in that time, and are prepared to use that experience
to make your wedding reception a success.
A wedding can be tricky to an unpolished DJ, as there will guests
of all ages and backgrounds in attendance. Unlike a night club
or house party atmosphere, everyone at a wedding won’t want
to hear the same thing. Only a skilled DJ can “read”
a crowd and tailor the mix of music to fit their needs. Only a
skilled DJ can fill a dance floor with the youngest and oldest
guests at the same time, and keep them happily dancing for the
duration of the reception.
Party Professionals’ disc jockeys aren’t only trained
to play music. They’re trained as MCs too. They’re
ready and willing to handle all of the announcements that are
part of a wedding. Whether it’s a grand introduction of
the bridal party, or a simple “time to eat,” let our
DJs guide your guests through the reception.
Included in all of our DJ packages is a wireless microphone. This
makes announcements and toasts a breeze. The DJ can introduce
the best man and walk the microphone right over to him. There’s
no need for him to squeeze between tables and trip on cables.
He can just stand up next to the groom and give his toast.
Our DJs are also skilled at motivating guests to dance and enjoy
themselves. But we don’t force a “personality DJ”
on you. During your consultation with your DJ and/or other members
of the Party Professionals staff, let us know just how animated
or sedate you want your DJ to be. Our DJs can be anything from
silent “human jukeboxes” to wild and rambunctious
party motivators. The choice is yours.
